Orbitz : Travel As You Are™

To make our support for queer travelers known, we created empowering films that authentically represent the community living and traveling as they truly are. Directed by the iconic Cass Bird, each film features a modern rendition of Lesley Gore’s classic “You Don’t Own Me” by up-and-coming queer artist Serpentwithfeet. The original single dropped on both Spotify and Apple Music. To reach the world of TikTok, we had queer influencers Tatiana, Victoria, and Everett put their own spins on the film.

Within the first month of launch site visits increased 572%, organic social engagement went up +551% and conversation sentiment was 100% positive. The campaign was featured on Adweek, The Drum, Billboard, Travel + Leisure, INTO, Out Magazine, Variety, Campaign Live, and Instinct Magazine.

It won gold at The Webby’s and Shorty Impact Awards, and Best Travel Campaign at Campaign US Big Awards.
